“Desolation and Wonder” is an anthology, written by Tristan Night, a South African creative, with ranged interests in art and storytelling. It is part of his larger series, “Night’s World of Witchtown“.

A cult treasure within the archive of artwork by TRISTANIGHT, previously vaulted to a limited edition physical runs, and shared only in performance art spaces. Un-recorded, at the time for intimacy toward the performance of rawness that is the contents of this book, as resonated with by others. Notably having one particular excerpt “Rain On Me” being featured in ODD Magazine‘s valentine run, and being recited by a performance artist at Burning Man the same year of 2020. After the ‘Lockdown’ effects felt by everyone during the pandemic in the years that followed, especially psychologically, it became evident that the message of the book would need a new form in order to reach any audience so as to fulfil it’s purpose and be felt. Therefore, it is with pleasure that we re-release a classic, and piece of the artist’s history for you to absorb once more, now from the comfort of your home.
